Welcome to God's people at Advent! Your visit is a gift and a blessing. You may be filled with doubts and questions, but it is our hope that even if you have never visited before that you will feel at home - for we are all home in the Lord's House. All of us are on a journey of faith together. We continue to be loved and nurtured by God in worship, prayer and Bible reading. More and more we discover how good and great God really is and as we grow in relationship to Him, we grow in thankfulness.

Advent Lutheran is part of an engaged, active body of
people who put faith in God into action in millions of
ways, all over the world.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church has three expressions — a church
wide organization in Chicago, 65 synods
throughout the country, and our network of
nearly 10,500 congregations. Each of these three
interdependent parts works together to form the ELCA.
